Mágina Dream La guardia, apartamentos rurales enclavados en plena montaña y rodeados de un entorno natural de singular belleza, en las estribaciones del parque natural “Sierra Mágina”. Se sitúan en el cerro de San Cristóbal, junto a la ermita de San Sebastián, a tres km. de La Guardia de Jaén, ciudad a la que pertenece el enclave. Su situación hace de este lugar, el sitio perfecto para desconectar y descansar en plena naturaleza.
Mágina Dream La Guardia, rural apartments nestled in the middle of the mountains and surrounded by a natural environment of singular beauty, in the foothills of the “Sierra Mágina” natural park. They are located on the hill of San Cristóbal, next to the hermitage of San Sebastián, three km. from La Guardia de Jaén, the city to which the enclave belongs. Mágina Dream La Guardia, se sitúa en Sierra Mágina (Jaén), en el Cerro de San Cristóbal junto a la ermita de San Sebastián y frente al macizo montañoso dominado por los picos más altos de la provincia. Cuenta con cuatro dúplex adosados totalmente equipados con cocina-comedor (disponen de menaje básico, fregadero, tostador, cafetera, fogones, nevera y microondas, ¡horno no disponible!), sala de estar con chimenea, sofás, dormitorio, baño y calefacción-AA.CC. Se suministran sábanas, toallas de pago para cada huésped (no incluidas en precio). La leña se vende si hay disponibilidad y por encargo.
Mágina Dream La Guardia, is located in Sierra Mágina (Jaén), in the Cerro de San Cristóbal next to the hermitage of San Sebastián and in front of the mountainous massif dominated by the highest peaks in the province. It has four semi-detached duplexes fully equipped with kitchen-dining room (they have basic utensils, sink, toaster, coffee maker, stove, fridge and microwave, oven not available!), living room with fireplace, sofas, bedroom, bathroom and heating. AA.CC. Sheets and towels are provided for each guest (not included in the price). Firewood is sold if available and on request.
Los dúplex cuentan con seis plazas cada uno. Las camas están en un solo dormitorio situado en la primera planta de cada casa, dispuestas en tres literas respectivamente.
The duplexes have six beds each. The beds are in a single bedroom located on the first floor of each house, arranged in three bunk beds respectively.
Todo el conjunto está dentro de un único recinto vallado dentro de una gran extensión de terreno con piscina comunitaria y barbacoas, zona de aparcamiento, etc. El lugar cuenta con espectaculares panorámicas del valle que se abre paso al sureste, entre montañas, olivares de sierra, ríos y antiguos caminos.

Desde el recinto, bien sea a pie o bien en BTT, se pueden realizar diversas rutas de senderismo de diversa dificultad, tiempo, desnivel, etc. o simplemente pueden dar un paseo al atardecer para gozar de las espectaculares vistas de la naturaleza que nos rodea.

El pueblo, La Guardia de Jaén, se encuentra tan solo a tres km. La amabilidad, simpatía y cercanía de sus gentes le harán sentir como en casa. El pueblo cuenta con todos los servicios esenciales: tiendas, bancos, bares, restaurantes, pubs, centro de salud, farmacia, iglesia y magníficos monumentos para visitar. Su patrimonio histórico abarca desde los primeros asentamientos humanos en el Neolítico, la Edad Antigua (íbera y romana), Edad Media y el Renacimiento, hasta prácticamente la época actual. El término municipal cuenta con 35 Bienes de interés cultural, tres de ellos declarados, destacando el Antiguo Convento de los Dominicos, obra de Andrés de Vandelvira.
El aceite de oliva virgen extra es quizás nuestro producto más popular, conocido y relevante. Jaén y provincia es hoy por hoy el principal productor del mundo, tanto por calidad como por cantidad. Sierra Mágina, además, posee denominación de origen propia, que regula la calidad en la elaboración de los aceites de sierra, con extraordinarias peculiaridades de sabor, olor y color, referentes estos sin duda, del máximo nivel de calidad. Podrán adquirir tan preciado producto directamente en las almazaras. El mejor recuerdo: el oro verde, alma de nuestra tierra.

En La Guardia de Jaén se pueden visitar importantes monumentos: el Antiguo Convento de los Dominicos, el Antiguo Convento de Santo Domingo (dónde se emplaza actualmente la Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción), el Castillo (fortaleza de considerables dimensiones). El parque natural Sierra Mágina, con sus cimas de más de dos mil mts., plagado de bosques, fuentes, cuevas, senderos, antiguos caminos, lugares de interés natural, histórico y etnológico, dispone de multitud de rutas para todos los gustos y niveles físicos, donde pueden practicarse diversas actividades en plena naturaleza: senderismo, montaña, escalada, BTT, parapente, fotografía, observación de la rica flora y fauna existente, etc.
También se pueden realizar rutas culturales y gastronómicas por las ciudades y pueblos cercanos: Jaén (capital de la provincia a 10 km.), Pegalajar, Cambil y resto de pueblos de Sierra Mágina, Úbeda y Baeza (ciudades patrimonio de la humanidad), Granada (a 80 km.) etc.
